The network function virtualization infrastructure for Internet of Things. The gateway for connected devices abstracts the access method through virtual interfaces tunneled to the Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI). The gateway forwards the frames directly to the NFVI. Data processing at the network layer and above is performed by the network functions running over the NFVI
